Lookybook

SAD DAY! LookyBook is no longer. Nothing like being on the tail end of a good thing. Bummer.

A colleague just sent me a link to Lookybook, an online picture book reader. A click turns the page, so it's easy for kids to navigate on their own. It probably won't get much use here at our middle school, but is a great tool for parents and caregivers.

You can look at the newest books, highest rated books, or try out the book tumbler that presents a different random selection every time. Registered users can create their own bookshelf to keep track of favorites.

Those who know me will not be surprised that the first book I went to was I Get Around, the story of a cute dog named Rover who looks an awful lot like someone I know.
